Expendables for Automotive, by making the expertise of major names in the automotive sector available to SMEs, aims to be a unique reservoir of solutions. Our services are aimed at companies whose size doesn’t allow them to internally access all the expertise needed for a strategic shift or simply to optimize core functions. Both through the level of their contributors and their concept based on practicality and results. Let’s investigate.

Summing up the concept is ultimately quite simple. Jean-François Bouveyron - who is at the heart of this project and whose 35 years of Automotive experience lends it legitimacy - explains the foundation and the spirit of the initiative of Expendables for Automotive:
“Several of us, former executives from major groups across various countries, identified a clear need in the market: SMEs with a turnover of €10M, €20M, €50M or even €250M wanting to take a step forward or develop new departments, but without the means to ‘hire big names’. At the same time, in the automotive world, there is incredible expertise and experience that many companies dream of using to define a strategy, open new opportunities, or validate decisions.

Our idea was simple: to build a pool of specialists and experts capable of undertaking missions and putting their know-how at the service of companies. But with some key specifics that define our concept.”

Focused on Operational Action

EfA (short for Expandables For Automotive) isn’t a headhunting or recruitment agency, and the approach rules out personal profit. The idea EfA promote is to make experts available to companies—experts who are free of constraints or obligations, and whose only goal is to help SMEs move forward.
We’ve therefore chosen long services individuals or recently retirees who held high-level operational positions in major automotive groups or international distribution companies. These are individuals not looking for new jobs or additional income, but whose proven skills can help SME managers gain efficiency.
Many mid-sized companies have grown and now need experienced professionals whom they don’t necessarily know or haven’t had a chance to meet.
The experts we bring together in Expendables for Automotive possess skills in strategy, management, logistics, procurement, supply chain, HR, etc., and are happy to put them to use.
Our focus is entirely on the benefit of the company’s performance recommendations.”

A Structured and Structuring Methodology

EfA is innovative both in its concept and in its deliberate decision to set aside rigid hierarchies. 
Our Experts carry out their missions freely and independently, without regard for their previous hierarchical rank. What matters is their expertise in specific areas.
In fact, they can also offer their skills to companies outside the automotive sector.
Creating an export department or optimizing logistics and inventory applies to many industries.
The method is simple and operational: first, the expert gets to know the company and identifies areas for improvement; then, in agreement with the company’s manager, they implement the recommendations.
They follow up on actions taken and, during the final satisfaction review, they are paid according to the terms agreed in the contract.
For the company, there are no surprises. For the Experts, seeing the company succeed thanks to their know-how is the first reward.
